Tiny Baby Girl and some kid stuff.

 So how should we start... A lot has occurred with baby girl since I last updated. So hang in there with this long update at the bottom are cute kids pics. I was having contractions last night so I decided to go into labor and delivery just to get checked.  The reason for this is is because my contractions don't get bad until I am 7-8 centimeters.  I handle them really well until I hit transition but for this reason it's hard for me to know when I first start labor.  So when I get some slightly uncomfortable contractions and they come consistently and don't go away no matter what I do I get checked.


when I got to the hospital I was still having some but they were slowing down.  They decided to perform the fetal fibronectin test that tries to predict preterm labor.  Basically it is more helpful if it is negative because then there is 98% chance you will not go into labor in the next two weeks.  But when it is positive it is a toss up.  With Xander I was positive and I dilated to a four before they put on magnesium in the hospital for a week.  I have never had another positive.  Well guess what last night it was positive.  


My outer cervix was dilated to a two but my inner was closed so they weren't concerned about that.  But since the test was positive they decided to do an ultrasound to check cervical length and amniotic fluid level.  Both of those were fine.  However the baby was measuring two to three weeks behind.  They told me her stomach was very small which is what they look for in intrauterine growth restriction.  They told me she is sitting at the 25th percentile but if she fell to the 10th or below she would be delivered immediately. My contractions fizzled out so they sent me home with orders to come back if they started up again. 


Now I am at home waiting for my appointment a week from tomorrow.  I'll have another ultrasound then to check her growth again and then talk to the doctor about what their plans are.  At this point I will be thrilled to make it 30 weeks but I'd even take 28.  If she goes longer it will be a huge blessing. They are estimating her currently weighing about 1lb 5oz.  So she is still pretty tiny.  She needs to grow more. I am praying doctors will know the right time to deliver. As long as possible so she can be ok when she comes out but not too long that she stops growing and something happens to her.  Just trying to stay positive and trusting God to direct everything.

 Inara got her toes painted for the first time.  I found a nontoxic nail polish.  Jadzia picked pink for her finger nails and Inara chose purple for her toes.  Even though it was kid safe I still painted just her toes because she sticks her fingers in her mouth and I'm paranoid.

Also new for Inara is her first trip to Grandma Fullmer's without Mommy.  I've never been away from her for more than a few hours so I'm struggling with the idea of her being gone for the entire weekend.  I know she will have a good time with Daddy, Jadzia and her grandparents. I will just miss them a lot.  

This means I only have the three boys. 

We're just going to hang out tonight and maybe watch a movie.

 We had a good time out with three oldest the other day.  We went out to Chuck E Cheeses.  Landon bought us all ice cream with his tooth fairy money.  He's a generous boy.
