5 in 5: Bring on the Blessings Blessings Round #2: Landon's 7th Birthday Take 1

If you've read my blogs in the past or just know me well you might already know I love my kids' birthdays. I love celebrating and making them feel special and therefor I tend to drag them out a little. Part of this is because of all the clubs I'm signed up for which gives us coupons around their birthdays for free things.

One tradition every year is Build a bear. I don't remember how long we've been doing this one but I believe it has been since Landon was three. This year Landon got a dachshund. At Isaac's suggestion Landon got a hot dog costume for his new puppy that he named "Ketchup".

Once build a bear was over he got to try one of the new icecream sandwiches from Coldstone.

I've been feeling lazy this year (perhaps bed rest has something to do with it). But I didn't make Landon's church cupcakes this year. Instead he got store bought ones to take to his Sunday school class. They were complete with basketballs on top, which is his favorite sport.

Keeping up with the theme of not doing much this year I also ordered him his cake for his party and we are having his birthday party at an arcade to help minimize mess plus it's what he asked for. The party takes place tomorrow and should be a lot of fun.
