I have to post tonight because Xander has reached a major milestone in his young life. This afternoon he lost his first tooth! Landon lost his first tooth right before his sixth birthday so I was a little caught off guard when Xander brought me his tooth.
He told me he found something in his mouth and it looked like a tooth. Once he handed it to me I realized he was right, it was a tooth. I excitedly requested he show me all his teeth. Sure enough he had an adorable gap in the middle on the bottom left. The adult tooth was already well through the gum line. This tooth was more than ready to depart Xander's mouth.
Xander also enjoyed climbing the walls today or more correctly the door way to the living room. He's been practicing all week and today he made it to the top and touched the ceiling. He's gotten very fast at zooming right up the door way. His stated inspiration is spiderman.
Ronan had his pre-surgery physical today. His anti-reflux surgery is taking place on Friday the 16th. I'm feeling very reluctant about the entire thing. Part of me wants to call and cancel and the other part of me wants to oversleep on that morning (No I wouldn't be that inconsiderate, It's just a temptation). Ronan has still been sick with yucky drainage in his nose and eyes as well as a lingering cough. I half expected his doctor to call the whole thing off. Instead she told me she was going to call his pulmonologist and call me back.
Ronan had a good time in the office. The giant mirror above the exam table made waiting for the doctor an entertaining experience. He danced and signed to himself. He finally found the perfect partner for Ronan says.
Ronan can fall asleep anywhere. When he is tired he just crashes. I have a now family famous video of him sleeping sitting straight up with no support.
Speaking of sleeping I know I have a ton of pictures of Inara all curled up with her Lila doll but I can't help it she's so cute all tucked in.
Also because I couldn't resist I did an outdoor photshoot. Here are a few of the photos from that.
Inara will be 15 months next week and she is losing her baby features more everyday. She says short sentences and can follow two step commands. Her and Jadzia have a new favorite game, follow the leader. Jadzia walks as fast as she can holding Inara's hand. Inara thinks it's hilarious to walk so fast through the house.
We are all gearing up for Jadzia's big four year old birthday bash next week. Her actually birthday is not until the 25th but with my Aunt and grandparents coming we decided to celebrate early.
I feel like it's been awhile since I've posted about Landon. Nothing new with him. He's as handsome and smart as ever. He is my huge helper and does so with a willing heart. He often anticipates me needing something for the babies before I even know I need it.
Finally I'll leave you with Xander's theory on the tooth fairy. Xander thinks that all tooth fairies are without teeth. This is the reason they collect teeth from everyone so they can make dentures and eat better food. They don't believe in stealing and that is why they leave money behind.
